Teenagers are influenced by media greater than what people may think. Watching TV or movies with sexual themes may influence teens not to use contraceptives because they are never portrayed in the movie. TV may play a significant role in the rising birth rates in the United States. Young mothers are more likely to quit school, live in poverty, and have to have public assistance.
This article does not support the idea of sexuality in the media. My other articles say that it helps teens to see consequences. I want to use this as a counter-argument in my paper. The huge debate if media influences teen pregnancy will continue.
